Baking With Sourdough — Join us for an introductory class on sourdough baking! In this class you will learn basic sourdough terms and techniques, how to maintain your sourdough starter and how to make a round artisan loaf of bread as well as a basic loaf of sandwich bread. As part of this class, you will receive a bowl and ingredients to mix up your own dough to take home and bake. You will also receive some sourdough starter, so please bring your favorite 16oz or smaller jar . Samples of sourdough bread will be provided as well as handouts summarizing class details and some recipes. After this fun and informative class, you will be ready to bake your very own beautiful loaves of bread in your own home! Our instructor, Amanda Kamprath, is AWARD WINNING! Her sourdough bread won 2nd place at the New York State Fair
